Maine Lobster Rolls I’d Order Again
My favorite rolls across Maine, from roadside shacks to coastal stops.
Maine lobster rolls worth the detour. The iconic stops, the roadside surprises, and the places you’ll wish someone told you about sooner.

Lobster Roll
Sundrenched, Bailey Island
Grab a seat by the water overlooking the Bailey Island Bridge and the surrounding coves. This is one of those quintessential Maine stops where the food and the view just belong together.
Sundrenched absolutely nailed the lobster roll. Generous, fresh lobster with just enough richness to let the meat stay the star. It tastes like summer in Maine and is the kind of roll I’d happily make a return trip for.

Lobster Roll
Morse’s, Harpswell
Fresh, heavy, and absolutely packed with lobster. Morse’s doesn’t skimp, and every bite feels generous. A great pick when you want a lobster roll that actually feels loaded.
-
Deluxe Lobster Roll
State Line Lobster, Kittery
The butteriest lobster roll I’ve had in Maine, and I mean that as a compliment. Get the Deluxe with both butter and mayo. Rich, messy, completely over the top, and so good.

Lobster Roll
Mac's Downeast Seafood, Auburn
A really solid lobster roll. Fresh, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a classic Maine stop. Not the flashiest one on the list, but definitely one I’d order again.

Conn. Style Lobster Roll
Becky's Diner, Portland
A classic Portland lobster roll that hits the spot. Fresh, generous, and exactly the kind of no-fuss Maine roll you'd want.

Lemon Dill Lobster Roll
The Lobster Haul, Damariscotta
Bright, fresh, and very unique! The lemon and dill add just enough lift without getting in the way of the lobster. Light, flavorful, and everything worked well together!
